Prof. Katrien Strubbe moved in 2000 the focus from chemistry towards Teacher Education. Since then she has set-up, led and participated in several projects on science education. She participated in local and regional boards concerning policy on teacher training, science and STEM education. Coordinator of the science teacher education programme, driving force for the organisation of workshops for science teachers in the Faculty of Sciences.
